Our Profile

Journey Education Marketing ("JourneyEd") based in Dallas, Texas, is the leading multi-channel software marketer to the K-12 and post-secondary academic markets, which include students, faculty, staff, educational institutions and public school districts. These markets are unique in that the academic versions of software/hardware are sold at a deep discount, even though they are typically identical to the full price commercial versions. In order to protect their margins, it is imperative that software/hardware vendors ensure that these deeply discounted products are sold only to qualified students, faculty/staff and educational institutions. JourneyEd is a leader in the business of verifying academic buyers and a preferred software/hardware marketer for the largest software/hardware companies, including Adobe, Autodesk, Avid, Corel, and Microsoft.

As late as 1990, software/hardware companies marketed discounted software/hardware only to four-year colleges and universities. By targeting such a limited group, software/hardware companies ignored the other academic market segments: individual students, faculty/staff and other institutions, namely two-year community colleges, vocational and technical career colleges/school. JourneyEd was founded to help software/hardware companies penetrate and sell to these markets. In the process, JourneyEd became the leading seller in the academic market for most of the leading software companies.

JourneyEd's history of integrity and personal customer service and knowledge of products and licensing has made us a premier partner for the major software publishers that we serve. We provide many services to make acquiring product knowledge and information easier for our educational customers including personalized service from our team of sales professionals, and competitive pricing on products from software and hardware vendors. Our Academic eStore Network ("AEN") which includes more than 15,000 online eStores, offers thousands of market-leading software and technology products, including those published by Microsoft and Adobe, at discounts of up to 85 percent off retail prices to verified academic buyers.
